Old memory

For some reason this popped into my head...........My mom was a thrift store shopper, The Elvis song "Blue Suede Shoes" was popular. Her and I were in a thrift store that had a brand new pair of wing tip blue suede shoes for .25. I begged her for them and she gave in(I found out years later I was her favorite). I tried them on but they were a little tight, I never complained, even when the pain of wearing them brought tears to my eyes. I don't remember what ever happened to them shoes but knowing her she probably made them disappear.
